    Gillian Devereux received her MFA in Poetry from Old Dominion University and currently teaches ESL classes in Cambridge, MA. Her poems have appeared in No Tell Motel, Open Letters, So and So, apt, H_NGM_N, FOURSQUARE, Gargoyle, 32 Poems, Wicked Alice, and other journals. She likes robots, monkeys, gin, film noir, and the library.

    Carissa Halston is the author of A Girl Named Charlie Lester, the contributing editor of apt, and the host of Literary Firsts. Her debut novel was honorably mentioned in the 2008 New York Book Festival and called “emotionally generous” and “a lovely piece of female confessional” by Kirkus Reviews. Her novella, The Mere Weight of Words, is due out in May, 2012 from Aqueous Books.

    Vincent Scarpa is pursuing his BFA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College. His fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in Vestal Review, Monkeybicycle, decomP, The Emerson Review, and other journals.
