The No Shoes Readings were founded to present a forum for writers in the greater Boston area to perform their work and receive feedback from an audience.   They are referred to as the No Shoes Readings because they took place in a yoga studio where wearing shoes is...frowned upon.

Now that Aforementioned Productions is located in New York, the No Shoes Readings also extend to the five boroughs.   So, if you are a writer in New York City or the greater Boston area--or one who would be willing to travel--and are interested in participating in your own reading, please contact us.

Jeannie Greeley is a Boston-based freelance writer and the author of "Sexploits," a sex and humor column in Stuff@Night magazine. She is also a regular columnist for Bay Windows, and has written for the Boston Globe, the Boston Phoenix, Boston Spirit Magazine, and several other local and national publications. She has crashed everything from cuddle parties and fetish fairs to Coyote Ugly tryouts and foot fetish conferences, all in the name of promoting teenage literacy.

Michael Lynch lives and writes in the Boston area. His poems have appeared most recently in Harvard Divinity Bulletin. His project in-progress, Underlife, is both a chapbook and a cross-discipline collaboration with his brother, the painter J.F. Lynch.

Robin Mork was born and raised in Antioch, CA, and studied art and theatre at Smith College in Northampton, MA. Since then she has settled in Boston, working in finance by day and making art and poetry by night. She has a very fluffy cat, a fairly messy room, a maxed-out credit card, and a delightful boyfriend. She has heard all of your Mork & Mindy jokes before. Nannoo. Although Robin does not yet have an artist's website, selected writings can be found on her blog.
